Mojacar.Mojacar is located on the top of a mountain looking out to sea from 172 metre high vantage point. In its narrow white streets perfumed by the abundant flowers which decorate the house-fronts, its Moorish past is still palpable and the same may be said of its cuisine, folklore and attractive “Moors and Christians” fiestas. The beaches of Mojacar Playa are 17 km long, with a large part being designated an area of natural beauty. Only 7 km has been developed and they consistently earn European Blue Flag. |

Palomares.Palomares, a picturesque Spanish village is located a mere 700 metres from the beach. Cuevas de Almanzora.A beautiful and traditional Spanish town, steeped in culture and history Cuevas del Almanzora is located 10 kilometres inland, five minutes drive from the E15 motorway. In addition to the facilities one would expect from a modern town Cuevas boasts both a concert hall and open air theatre hosting a variety of events throughout the year. Within the walls of the town’s castle there are an extensive library and museums of art and archaeology. |

Zurgena.With magnificent views of the mountains and surrounded by countryside lies the pretty whitewashed village of Zurgena. Peaceful, yet within easy reach of both the coast and the major towns of Heurcal Overa, Ceuvas del Almanzora and Vera. The village itself offers a good selection of shops, bars, banks and medical facilties. A golf course is under construction close by. |
